Romcargo is a cargo charter company based in Romania that strives to provide safe and reliable transportation services. We prioritize the well-being of our clients, their cargo, and the environment. As part of our commitment to safety, we adhere to international regulations and guidelines, including those set forth by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Dangerous Goods (DGR):

At Romcargo, we strictly follow the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) manual when it comes to the transportation of hazardous materials. It is essential to note that dangerous goods are articles or substances capable of posing risks to health, safety, property, or the environment. Examples of dangerous goods include lithium batteries, dry ice, aerosol whipped cream, and other potentially hazardous items.

To ensure the utmost safety during transportation, it is the responsibility of the shipper to properly identify, pack, mark, and label dangerous goods in compliance with IATA regulations. Our team of experts is well-trained in handling and stowing dangerous goods to minimize any potential risks.

DanValuables Cargo (VAL):

Romcargo understands the importance of valuable cargo to our clients. Valuables cargo refers to consignments that contain articles such as precious metals, legal banknotes, securities, diamonds, jewelry, and other high-value items. We recognize the significance of safeguarding these items and take extra precautions to ensure their security during transportation.

Weight and Dimensions:

We strive to accommodate a wide range of cargo sizes and shapes. While there are no weight restrictions for our cargo charter services, it is important to consider that certain weight limits may be imposed by other entities involved in the transportation process, such as airports, customs, or destination countries. We will work closely with our clients to find the most suitable solutions for their specific cargo requirements.

Please note that bulk shipments and palletized shipments are accepted upon request, subject to compliance with maximum weight and dimension regulations. Additionally, specific airports in Romania, including Bacau, Cluj, Constanta, Iasi, and Sibiu, may have limitations on the types of cargo accepted on arrival. Our team will provide guidance and assistance to ensure smooth logistics planning.

Safety and Compliance:

At Romcargo, safety and compliance are of utmost importance. We prioritize quality packaging, temperature control for pressurized cargo and compressed gas, and the use of leak-free containers for infectious substances. Our team adheres to IATA standards for proper marking and labeling of cargo.

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, it is essential for our clients to stay informed about the specific regulations and requirements pertaining to their cargo. We recommend consulting with our experienced team to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to address any specific concerns related to the transportation of your goods.
